Knights finish second at the McCook Community College Tournament

McCook, Neb. - The North Platte Community College women's golf team finished in second at the McCook Community College Tournament. The team had a two-day total of 196-over par.

Esperanza Mendoza-Rama led the team, getting an 89 in both rounds to end with a two-day total of 178 (+34).

Iryana Frahm recorded her best round on Thursday carding an 88 securing tenth place overall with a total score of 188 (+44).

Delaine Mize carded her best round on Friday to place twelfth. Rounding out the Knights was Zoey Oatts with a two-day total of 210 (+66).

North Platte will return to the course for Northeastern Junior College Tournament at the Riverview Golf Course in Sterling, Colo. Apr. 2-3.
