Knights finish second in last fall meet

Lamar, Colo. - The North Platte Community College women's golf team capped off its fall season, finishing second at the Lamar Community College Tournament. The Knights posted a team score of 266 over par across the two-day event.

Iryana Frahm led the team, opening with a 104 before shaving 11 strokes off her score in the second round to finish with a two-day total of 197 (+57).

Esperanza Mendoza-Rama recorded her best round on Friday with a 99, securing eighth place overall with a total score of 200 (+60).

Zoey Oatts carded a 106 in both rounds to finish in ninth place. Rounding out the Knights was Delaine Mize who carded a two-day total of 217 (+77).

With the fall season behind them, the Knights will regroup and return to competition in the spring.
