Women’s Basketball host Pickleball Fundraiser

North Platte, Neb. - The North Platte Community College women's basketball team is accepting registrations for its Pickleball Tournament Fundraiser, scheduled for Aug. 29-30 at the Cody Park pickleball courts. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Knights women's basketball program.

The tournament will feature three divisions: men's and women's doubles, mixed doubles, and junior doubles.

Men's and women's doubles competition will be held Saturday, Aug. 29, with age divisions for high school (15-18), adults (19-49), and seniors (50+). Each division will be divided into skill levels of 3.0, 3.5, and 4.0+.

Mixed doubles will take place on Sunday, Aug. 30, with the same age divisions and skill levels.

Junior doubles will also be held on Sunday, Aug. 30, for players ages 11-14. Teams may consist of two boys, two girls, or one boy and one girl.

Participants must register by Aug. 15 at www.npccknights.com. The entry fee is $25 per player, or $50 per team. Payment by cash or check will be accepted on the day of the tournament. Checks should be made payable to North Platte Community College Women's Basketball.
